Ha ha, can't be to fussy, as it is spelt Pedantic!!
Surely its 'what are the best tyres?' rather than 'is' (singular)?![]()
Hello again, yes I know it's been a day or 2, I've been very very busy. Any way, not to rattle any cages, I'm after something. This morning, I was backing off me drive the same as I have done every day for 12 years or so, when. 'PING' 'I know what that sound like) BOLLOX lying in the floor is the left side rear peg hanger. Now due to the fact I take my little Pixie to work most days I kind of need it. So does any kind soul have one kicking about that is for sale please. Off to the garage to try to make a hasty repair. I no longer have the use of a TIG welder.
Never get mad, just get even
does anyone use japan web bike? just curious if they are reliable as a retailer. I'm interested in a steering damper that they offer. https://japan.webike.net/products/30665.htmlDampermount002.jpg
Yep, use them all the time.
The only issue I frequently come across is that they advertise stuff that isn't actually in stock or has a long lead time for delivery. They send you an email after you've placed the order telling you the approx dispatch date for the parts and giving you a couple of options... 1) Continue with the order with an approx dispatch date or 2) Cancel the order and a refund.
I've never had any major issues with Webike apart from being disappointed sometimes with their long lead times for dispatching the parts.
Also, if you go for the cheapest shipping method, you won't get any tracking info and it takes ages for the parts to arrive.. Make sure you choose a shipping method with tracking.
Remember, you'll have to factor in UK Import Duties and ParcelForce or Royal Mail handling fees if you go over the UK Customs threshold of £18 for retail goods.
Hope this helps. Good luck
.
thanks for the info, much appreciated
Does anyone have a source for Corbin smuggler seat\trunks? Or something similar? I don't really like many of the bolt on seat options out there. The smuggler trunk looks the closest to what i want, a little cafe tail section vibe, but I've emailed Corbin and they don't seem to make them anymore. Can the trunk be bolted on over the standard seat? Or do you need the whole set? They seem crazy expensive even when they do turn up used.
