ZRX Parts and Accessories

With all this interest in extra bits to add on or replace on our REXs, i did have the idea

that we could have a extra thread to where we could show to other members all these "Screens, boxes ect ect", i dont mean every little bit like coloured fasteners,bolts,brake hosers that just happen to be green, but items that are designed and made for the ZRX, that you would'nt find in the Busters/M&P catalogue.
Just an extra thread, say next to the Techno one to help new members, and us old gits from seaching through old posts trying to find one thats shows a Flip-up-wind-cheating-same-colour-matching screen.
well i think it's an idea !!!!!

A great idea Mr Michaelzrx, that I believe would really benefit our new members and others wishing to know what options there are for belly pans, screens, undertrays, huggers, paddock stands, side racks and top boxes....etc

It would provide a goldmine of information for anyone interested and could be updated by Rexxers with first hand useage/fitting tips, maybe even star ratings as well as web links and prices/deals. Think how useful that would be to someone thinking of a specific item and then accessing info on the various models available, with user ratings.

If you want a stylish key ring with a metal badge of your machine, these are superb quality.

I have used these for years with most of my bikes and they are much nicer than the usual boring key rings you can get.

**Website is a little messed up and the Rex is sometimes listed as a ZXR!!

But persevere as the owner is a lovely man and the products are great and promptly delivered.

GENERAL PARTS FROM MOTHER KAWASAKI

Kawasaki UK list several after market options for the ZRX1200 which include a side rack system and Givi panniers, a top rack, engine bars, bike cover, tank pads etc. All can be ordered easily via any Kawasaki dealer and you can be assured that all are purpose made and WILL fit as intended...

THE WONDERS OF EBAY

Ebay can be a great source of ZRX parts, both new and used. There are always plenty of after markey goodies to spruce the old girl up including Logo'd heel plates, bar ends and chain guards, as well as coloured logo'd valve caps and resevoir caps. Many of the items are at 'Buy it now' prices, but there is always the opportunity to bid for a bargain

If you have not already opened an Ebay account, give it some serious thought. I have obtained a new RSR Barros rep shark helmet for £56 (RRP £380), Kawasaki leathers and gloves, boots, a hugger for £40 odd quid and stacks more.
