    Re: Brisk Plugs ?

OK, i may be showing my ignorance of other bikes but in the ad under the graph it says

    BMW
    R1200GS witht 4x BOR12LGS
    About. + 4-5 HP

    isn't the R1200GS a twin?
it doesn't have twin plugs per cylinder does it?
if the answers are yes and no
    then why the 4x plugs?

    Re: Brisk Plugs ?

    the ad:

near top says bidding on 1 piece

then further down it says :

"You are Bidding on a Brand new in Box set of 4 Brisk Spark Plugs for:
( from BRISK GERMANY and USA katalog 2010):"

BMW may indeed need two plugs per cylinder.

Too many errors to trust the seller to deliver what is needed and he sums it up quite succinctly in his own image of the product ie RISK

as for design, there are more ways than one to skin a cat. The BRISK plug won't ever need gapping and is based on old and trusted technology. whether there is any benefit in road use I don't know but for higher performance conditions where every 0.1 bhp gained is critical then it may be of value.

you can twin plug a BMW head but it doesnt make any difference except more cost and weight, no power advantage.

theyve twin plugged em since around 2001,
its mainly for emissions and to help stop surging, as they run a weak mix
