Without doubt it had to be a Honda CB200. What a pile of unadulterated shite that was !

Suzuki GT750 2-stroke. Spent more time in bits trying to work out why it seized and threw me off.

For me it was the 1979 Yama bloody ha SR 500. Nothing realy wrong with the bike itself, it was like new, it had to be, it attracted cars and kerbing like nothing else and was forever being rebuilt, crash after crash. The count before I got rid of the hexed thing was 3 cars. Not counting the time at a set of traffic lights doing a simple u-turn, it threw me off in front of five lanes of traffic. The bloody car drivers were P*ss*ng themselves laughing I don't know how they managed to drive away.

Worse bike I ever owned was a clapped out Suzuki 250 Husler I bought for $50. The front wheel bearings were shot and the the wheel had 1" of slop from side to side. Handling was "interesting" to say the least. I bought it at a pub as a "doer upper" but ended up riding it for only 3 days before I flogged it to a work mate as a "parts bike".

Without a doubt CB250K4 regularly broke cam sprocket bolts and wore out cam bearings. Never had another H***a.

Kawasaki KC100. Paid 230 for it in 1983 and that was about 200 too much. Drum brakes front and back didn't work and bike always conked out on me in the middle of a run between Dublin and Belfast. Never expected to make any destination I set out for. Running problem turned out to be an ill fitting petrol cap that let rain water into the tank but a year of misery before I worked that out. Sold it to a farmer for 90 who used it to herd his sheep after that - fitting end for the ugly little sod - the bike that is - mind you the farmer was no oil painting...........
