ZZR600 Superb underrated bike.

Still one of my favourite bikes, had a stonking engine for a 600 of the time. Let down a little by the suspension but was fine for the road. As always happened (and still does), the bike press goes mad for the more track focused bikes like the CBR6 at the time, and forget most people are riding on bumpy knackered UK roads.

I totally agree with you noggin. I was initially undecided between the zzr or the ZRX, my memories are so good of the 600. Perhaps there still a little space in the garage for one.
I toured all over Scotland on mine and it never let me down. I also agree about the suspension, but I suppose in this day and age easily rectified.

CB50J - me dad said it looked so much faster in the showroom
CB125T - sorta liked it
NS125R - Mental, it either worked really well, or not, which was most of the time
FZR600R - An eye opener at the time
ZXR750H1 - umm, when I bought it off a mate it was banana yellow with lime green screen and fasteners
ZXR750H2 - bought in its streetfighter phase, brought it back to standard, and really enjoyed it
ZXR750L1 - bought in boxes, eventually morphed into a mongrel, GSXR6 front end, T595 rear end, reworked motor, full race bodywork, god it was fast
XJR1300SP - The only bike I've bought from a showroom loved it
TL1000S - cant find the words
KMX125 - bought for the misses, eventually became mine
M600 Monster - as above (still have it)
ZRX1200S - in the first stages of rebuilding

Now the CB50J was something, it looked quite good sitting still, but, you could be going along, and the only thing you could overtake was a granny on a bicycle, only down hill with the wind behind you.

Sadly no pictures exist of the ZXR750H1, if there ever was any........

Interesting. Our 2 cycle 50cc Simson was a screemer, sadly I never got one in my teen years..., Jumped straight to middle weight at 18
