zrx12 is back on the road again .

its on the road again , just fitted zzr12 cam shafts and others bits to mine would of been dones quicker if my oldest boy didnot go into the garage and kick the tray send ing bits everywhere but nevermind all done and its allot more interesting now,

only thing i might be looking into is converting the gearbox into 6 speed , i have heard that the zzr12 box is a weaker box and top gear is the same as 5th on the rex ? i have look into the ratios and see if i can play with them , the workings out i done so it should couple just got to speak to the m/c shop to see if it could be done.

Now i can sort the rest out , back log of jobs to catch up on chop needs a service again, and dare i say converting a honda pan european into streetfighter / chop dunno yet see how mad i get with the angle grinder to waht it becomes over the winter

top gear is indeed the same, but you can play with sprocket size to make top an overdrive to all intents.
As for being weaker, how much power does a ZZR12 put out? I think you'll be safe.

there are kits available for the goldwings pans and most big bikes now, i have fitted one of these kits to a goldwing it is literary just a case of unbolting the swing arm and shaft unit and bolt the axle which comes complete into its place,

mind you mate yours are the only words of encouragment i got pan owners club was horrified what i am going to do with it haha.

I was too hard up having had to rebuild the engine at the time. The wiring loom had been butchered by the previous owner as well.
