Hello peoples, just my first post here so be kind will you? Anyway, sounds like a great place to ask those curly questions that even authorised dealers can't seem to answer....anyway here goes, is the ignition key meant to be removeable once you've started the bike? Seems like my igingtion switch is a bit intermittant here. I've still got warranty so as my 12,000km service is due soon it would be good time to change the switch if need be. cheers :)

Hi and Welcome
No the ignition key should not be removable in the on position, yours is defective, it may have been damaged in an attempted theft.
You need to get it sorted before you lose the key whilst riding. Not good.

Your bike will probably start with any key that fits in the slot too.
