Engine cut out

I seem to recall somebody else having this problem.
At any given rev and under load the engine just wont pull, if you brake and clutch, it just cuts out, almost like fuel starvation or a coil breaking down, the engine then wont start for a couple of mins then when it does it,s a sort of misfire until it clears.
Tried the usual tank venting etc, any thoughts before i take it under warranty

mine was doing something similar a while ago, and it turned out that the rubber vacuum pipe to the fuel tap had kinked just after it went over the metal pipe, when this was straightened out the problem stopped

Mine's doing it on occasion. Will run sweet for days, then all of a sudden it'll lose power and just die. Leave it for 5 minutes, right as rain again. I thought maybe the furel filter.

But really have no idea at all :dunno:
