Gozzie is getting back with some dates, when he throws them in we can see what's best for everyone.
We could either do one day or make it a weekend meet with a stopover at a B&B or something.

Fancy a night out in Lancaster before a ride into the lakes, pretty central, good biker pubs and cheap places to stay?

I'll get my rota on monday to find out when Im off. I wont be able to do more than a day run, I have no brownie points left in the bank to get me a passout

Wasn't expecting such a good response, it would be great if we can get a small group together for a good ride around the area, much better than a ride to a meet and then ride back.

I should be able to make it.
All settled in the new house now so a good rideout would make a nice change from fitting kitchens/bathrooms etc. :thumb:

Probably not be able to make ride out, due to problems due to living arrangements, but if anybody wants to travel from further afield and needs an intermediate stopover in Bolton, may be able to provide bed or sofa

Well, Gozzie was going to check out his work rota on Monday (yesterday) and post the dates that he can make it.
Just tried to ring him on his mobile and it's going straight to his answerphone :dunno:
So, what dates would suit everyone.
I'm OK for any weekend, either one day or both with a stayover at a B&B on Sat night.

Ok still no dates have come in so here goes....
My prefered dates in order of preference,
5th & 6th August
12th & 13th August
26th & 27th August
This can be a 1 or 2 day thing.
My choice would be to get booked in somewhere and have an evening meal together with a few bevvies. Have an early breakfast and set off to ride around the lakes on Sunday morning.

Sorry for the delay, forgot I had to check dates. Doh!
I cant make any of those dates
My weekend off is 29th July, and I have been volunteered to help a mate move house then.
Im on late shift 13th August, so if thats the date that gets chosen I might have a bimble out in the morning to Hartside or somewhere and see if I can see some of you before I have to head back for work

Well no one replied for the stopover or for a definate for this Sunday. We could still make it a ride for Sunday if people want to meet up. If no one wants to go this Sunday, I'll leave organising it to someone else for another date.

Don't be disheartened about arranging rideouts,I did fancy this one and posted to that effect early on but it's a bit like grabbing a wet bar of soap getting a date that fits in with everyone:( the date that was floated was no good to me as I work in a place where if one is off the other guy cannot be :( and he wanted to take his family away for two weeks that fell on the weekend date for the rideout :bike: and I am working 6am -2pm .
I am off to Scotland for a weekend ride with my mate leaving the 25th Aug and back on 27th Aug with two B+B nights which still have to be booked staying somewhere around Callendar/Crainlarich/Crieff north of Stirling for two night and doing a full day rideout before returning on the 27th,anyone is welcome as long as you can tolerate my mate cos he rides a Bandit :) :baby: :bike:

No plan Charlie, I mentioned it last night at the Free BBQ, but the opinion was that we should wait till next year. Next year is like tomorrow, it never comes, but the clock is ticking, we could be saying next year when we are on our zimmers!
I for one, would still be up for something this year though, either The Lakes or Wales, maybe. We don't need a massive group, a small group would probably be easier to organise anyway.
What do you think? :bike:
