Well, apart from causing it by pulling out in front of the bike (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/4640162.stm), of course.

What a tosser! Would any jury believe that cock and bull story about why he stayed in a field all night while helicopters searched for him, certainly hope not. Lock him up and throw the friggin' key away.

What a tosser. I bet he'll get at least a £50.00 fine and a suspended sentence or maybe, that harsh community service.

Why is it, when every twat seriously maims or kills a motorcyclist, he says something along the lines of "I've never seen anything so fast in my life" or the legendary "they must have been racing"
It's all stereotypical boll**** backed up by the namby pamby do gooders.

I feel so sorry for the family of this lad having to listen to all this shite. Why can't people ever have the boll**** nowadays to admit they f***ed up and face up to their responsibilities. It's always someone else's fault.....

Ya what, the driver lays in a field all night not moving, the other phones his wife to pick him up after looking at the dead body, concerned for his son, what about the lad they had just killed, he was someones son.
And they dont go to the police till the NEXT morning!!!!!!(plenty of time to think up what they are going to say to the coppers) :hmm: yet he remembers 2 bikes going that fast "10 feet apart" "it was like a race track" . (oh yes that old fossil, the bikes were speeding)

Going to jail (some hope) is too good for these F**king Twats.

It's a sad state of affairs when the normal public reaction is to belive this Jerk! (Speeding Motorcyclists) etc...... The truth is that untill the situation becomes so black and white, that it wasn't this poor lad's fault.Blame will lay at his door........ It just makes me so mad/angry.
Best wishes to his family. :agreed:

If the motorcycles were in close formation as he described what on earth posessed the murdering tosser to pull out into the middle of them unless he was a pissed murdering tosser.

I just hope the rider didnt feel anything and my thoughts as always when I read about or attend these things go out to his family.

Typical another drunk driver and yet another needless death caused by his total unwilligness to say no to an alcoholic drink when he knew he would be driving, its like giving a monkey a handgrenade in a busy shopping centre its only a matter of time before some one gets killed.
Go out with a gun or knife and kill some unsuspecting stranger and you get at least 25 years this twat who went out with an offensive weapon his ability not to drink and then drive a 2ton mrecedes. Same result though he will get off with a small custodial sentance may be or a ban and a big fine hardly bloody justice and goes to show how cheap a life becomes at the hands of our pathetic doo-gooding namby pamby legal system is...................... :headbang:

A few yesra ago a mate of mine Muz was killed in an accident. When he was doing under 20 mph on a quiet in town road by a post office van.

While giving support to his other half the murdering scum thought I was the driver of the van! FFS. He claimed Muz was speeding and the conditions were poor. Up steps local plod and staes for all at the court speed less than 20 mph, weather clear and bright, road clear. Van doing over 40 and just pulled across him. Took Muz 4 weeks to die!

What did the scroat get...

Wait for it

£300 fine, no points and kept his job.

He had to b taken out the back door by the coppers as he was advised if he went out the front he might be in danger. I ahve no idea what gave him that idea apart from the 20 odd bikers sat out side

The guy should tell the truth. I'd had a couple to drink I wasn't steaming drunk but was probably over the limit I thought all the bikes had gone passed I was talkin to my mate about how fast the bikes were that had just gone by and not really paying attention and just didn't see the bike.

I shat myself because I am a coward and ran off because I couldn't face what I had done.

He should finish his statement off by admitting to manslaughter and accept whatever punishment comes his way.

He probably is a broken. He'll have it on his conscience for the rest of his life. Rightly so I hope its the last thing he thinks about every day and when he lying in his bed an old dying man I hope he sees the face of the lad he took out.

2 things in this story really make me angry 1. He killed this guy. 2. he hasn't got the balls to admit it and save the Lads family from anymore pain.

He is guilty and he knows it and everyone else knows it so he'll walk. I look forward to hearing the outcome of this.

The fact the bikes were ''speeding'' is totally irrelevent his judgement was obviously clouded by alcohol. Why were there no medical reports done to accertain the level of his concussion. Deserves to rot in a cell that would give him time to reflect on what he did.

I usually try to see both sides to these things, (let's be honest 99% of bikers go to Wales to tear-arse around the place) but that cnut should be given the electric chair. His head is probably in tatters because he knows he killed someone and then did a runner to hide the fact he was drunk.

I fully agree with Craig!
The worst thing is, this c - - t cant even admit it was his fault. He should stand up like a man and take responsibility for his actions! To- -er!

I'm sure in the fullness of time justice will prevail through our incorruptible judicial system and this man will be dealt with both fairly and sternly... :\

give him a fair trial, then jail him and his mate for life.

i thought leaving the scene of a accident was a crime in its self ?

dosent seem to be any remorse ,only looking out for themselves.

This guy or git should get an oscar for his performance , you pull out in the path of a single motorcycle there is a slim chance you havent seen it, but to pull out into a convoy of bikes as he said in his statement, bit like getting in the way of a lorry i would imagine but with less wieght involved. So it is plain to me he just didnt look ,driving without due care ,bang him up he deserves all he gets.

It's no different over here on this side.
Seems that if you kill an innocent person with an automobile, they aren't as dead as they would have been had you used a rock, knife, or a gun.

The level of justice and/or punishment is inversely proportional to the amount of money the accused possesses. This is painfully true in every society I have seen.
Does anyone find it odd that in many of these cases, the penalties aren't as severe as they would have been for a fat speeding ticket?

Bill.

I heard of a case where a young child was killed by a wreckless driver, the driver was made to pay £200 compensation. The reason the judge gave was the child was not an earner and so no monetary value (so why £200 compo :dunno: ) was applicable. He was also banned for 1 year and fined for wreckless driving. I'm sure the family felt that was justice well done :soap:

The reason the judge gave was the child was not an earner and so no monetary value  What an extremely sick and twisted viewpoint that is. I really can't think of a suitable punishment/torture for any judge who can make a decision like that. He wants removing from society forthwith, if not sooner.

It's not possible to put value on a human life but common sense tells you it's going to be more than a paltry £200

:soap: Getting off my soapbox now before I say something I'll regret later.
