Can anybody tell me where to get hold of the plugs, fitted when the grab rails are taken off. I've had a look on the OA, but can't seem to find them :hmm: :D:

Do you mean rubber grommets? in which case halfords could help, or do you mean the aluminium spools, then Chrispy on the OA is your man.

Cheers Pal, I was after the spoolsbut after going on the OA again i still can't find em :doh: looks like being the rubber bungs :cry:

The spools (or grab rails) actually provide structural support to the tail unit.

If you just remove it and replace with blanking grommets, the unit could crack under vibration.

Some people say this has never happened to them, but others have said it has.

I wouldn't risk it.

I took mine off but instead of spools got some countersunk hexyheads with countersunk washers.:ysam:
