My old man was in the forces, and I was born in Berlin 1962. He was posted back there from 1969-1973, I was still a nipper at school, big german lads used to beat us up all the time for nowt  cant imagine why  . violence must be in their genes!

Met AJ & Sam this weekend. Great people & glad you guys came out. Wasn't the best party ever (behind the scenes logistical b.s.), but hey, it was warm & sunny & got to ride some beautiful roads.

Good to meet you guys. Cheers.

Finally home after a few days in France. Great do and even better people and roads. Carl thanks for teh chat as our German is not bad but non existant!

for those who thought, bloody long way, well it was but well worth it. Left Kettering at 7.30 BST and arrived at 10pm local time. The beer was great and will upload what pics we have, as the battery on the stills camera was dead.

Well the bike is now at 49,000 miles and in need of a lot of work, time to buy the bits and work over thw winter. Can recomend this run to anyone else
. Oh yeah I won the furthest travlled award;)

Wisel / Hans thanks for the patches will take pride of place with the other rally / party momentos
