How come when I look at or post a thread with embedded images, I no longer see the images, only links to them.

ie... if I do this:

what I see (this may not make sense if you all see the same thing as me lol) is the link,

not the picture....

But what's REALLY weird, is when I click the insert image icon (the wee mountain and sun thingy) and paste in the URL, the image is show in the edit box. But when I submit it... the image disappears...

It's been like this for a while, but deninitely not always...... I don't think I've ever changed any settings re displaying images...

Anyone got any idea?

not sure what way your doing it via but when i upload an image to photobucket i simply copy the image code to the post im creating and paste it there, that gives me the image when i post the thread/reply.

In the user cp did you check the box that says annoying posting problem please?

yup... tried that too... must be a setting somewhere....

Nothing wrong with the post...I can see the pic....must be your browser settings
