Pal,
Other then the rear being wider then the 1100 wheel is there a gain from using the front ? is it lighter if so by what ? or does the pattern vary from the ZRX wheels to the ZXR wheels ?

Spoke pattern is the same. I've never had two wheels to measure but I'm reliably informed the ZXR/ZX7r wheels are lighter than a stock rex.
I do know that they are different part numbers, the ZXR/7r/9r wheels for 91 on are 41073-1496 with different paint codes for the different colours (DH, F8, CJ) whereas the Rex wheels are 41073-1618.

I may be after a front as I've got the 7r rear to fit when i can find time and I'd get them both powdered coated - then i could sell my Rex front along with the 1200 rear wheel i'm running at the moment.
have you thought about splitting them ?

TBH I hadn't thought of splitting them, but now you mention it it might be a good solution.
I know traditionally fronts go for more as no-one backs into stuff, but the rear would be more sought after for an 1100 owner wanting to go for 180 tyres. :hmm:
 50/50?
