Excel

Mrs sent me a great quiz, but it's on a .xls file, which I can't do as an attachment, how can I load it up here?

You have three possible solutions:

1. Try and upload the file to photobucket - not sure but they may allow storage of non image files.
2. Post it as an attachment to the board, upload the file as you would an image.
3. E-mail it to me and I will host it on my website with a link to it on this board. tgr"AT"marvelcustoms.co.uk

just tried 1 and 2 and they no worky.....

2 would work if board was set to accept *.xls files as it will accept PDF and TXT files. test file attached.

Hmm, I have had a look at this as well, with no luck yet.

Vera had an Excell file up when he was going to break his bike, maybe he would know.

If you dont require the functionality of Excel to do the test, you could do a screen grab with your print screen button and past the image into a paint programme where you can save it as a picture, then you can post it with photobucket.:idea:

If you have a mac and can open the excel file (the free Neooffice will do it, or pages will too). Then select "print" and you have the option to save it as a pdf file.

If you don't have a mac, just keep on walking....

Hmm, I have had a look at this as well, with no luck yet.

Ive seen a few of these excel quiz's and have tried to copy and paste pics to bastardise it for my own School quiz night coming soon. However the whole sheet seems locked and I cannot edit it.

Any idea's?

Every share servers support ZIP or RAR archiv files which you can share and post without any problems!
So add your file to *.zip or *.rar file and upload it! ;)
