ELR OR NOT ELR ?

I know that there's been debate before about the ZRX 1100/1200R being an ELR replica and Kawasaki advertised the Z1000R as a superbike replica with pictures of Eddie Lawson alongside one, but was it really a Wayne Rainey replica? All the photo's I've found on the internet have Eddie Lawson's #21 bike with a number board upfront whilst Wayne Rainey's #60 bike has the number board attached to a bikini fairing like the GPz/Z1000R has. I always thought Eddie raced with a bikini fairing fitted but maybe my memory is not what it was and we are all really riding Wayne Rainey Replicas.Hopefully someone will come up with a photo of Eddie's bike fitted with a bikini fairing.

Knowing how flexible the frame is on my KZ1100R, even with whatever stiffening they did to the KZ1000 frame, that's just plain scary! :pray:

Forget Rossi Doohan and any body else Lawson was and always will be the Main Man ! the print i have of him is from 82 and the bike has a fairing and the stripes are the reverse of the road bike.

He was the best on four strokes, and two strokes when they were bad ass machines.
And a real bad attiude to the press and all the politics that go on in the sport
and wouldnt kiss ass even for Honda which will always make him a hero !
